here We are not the first place for immigrants to move to because we have usually mistreated our immigrants Assimilation give up your entire culture of where you came from to be like the country you are going to You assimilate for better job opportunities marry someone one already similar or a move into an area without any person at all that is similar to you Hurdles people experience trying to assimilate language miss home Anglo Conformity must change your self to be English WASP White Anglo Saxon Protestant Xenophobia fear of immigrants because they can take power Acculturation not giving up everything you came from when in own area and own environment you act to support their culture Cultural Pluralism so many different cultures in the same area EXP Miami Un Assimilate able people that try to assimilate and do everything they can to be like the country to join but they cant because wasp treat them differently because of their physical characteristics Formative English
