23 when you think of telling stories by still images think of graphic novels Example Tin Tin Can be related more directly to making movies with storyboards 24 storyboard when you are about to throw away about 1 million dollars on a movie you want to make sure that you are going to get the image to want to get at the end you are not going to go out to the giant set you built with a 1000000 kit and start rolling You want a good idea of what you are going to shoot so directors talk to storyboard artists and you can up with basically a graphic novel for the movie before you start In the example you even see camera movement planed out ahead of time 25 this camera is used in RTF 318 26 on the back there is no LCD screen there is film so you don t see the image until they come back from the developer You have to really think about the image that you want and what factors go into making that 27 SAME why film 28 how film works photographic film SAME There is a chemical reaction occurring when light hit the film 29 SAME 30 why It makes you think about your image Roger Dieckens the guy in the image
