Iron Man will be a large man covered in armor. You will be able to move Iron Man in many different ways. The controls are organized in such a way to give Iron Man full movement. The screen will follow the character centering him onto the screen so he can see as much behind him as in front of him. You will be able to walk in an east or west direction on the screen. This is not 3D so you can not walk up and down. By pressing up or down you will cause Iron Man to either jump or duck. Once up is pressed Iron Man will jump into the air. Once inthe air you can jump to the right or left or just up if you feel inclined. There is an unleveled terrain so you can jump up and down from the different elevations. Pressing down will cause Iron Man to role up into a tight ball making himself smaller. Once in theduck position you can not move around. The character can move east and west but the goal of the player will be to continue moving east. The player can backtrack but to reach the end of the level the player will want to go east. Once at a pre-determined point the player will reach the end of the level and move onto the next. The character will not be able to just stroll to the endof the level through. Iron Man will experience an armada of enemies and traps between him and victory. Iron Man will be able to get through these obstacles by using his abilities. Iron Man has abilities beyond his movement. Iron Man can fight the enemies twodifferent ways. First would be to walk up and punch them. This is crude but effective since you have unlimited times you can punch a person. Iron Mans second and more powerful attack is to fire bolts of lead at the enemy. This attack is effective due to the ability to attack from a range and destroy enemies without having to put oneself in close danger. The bolts of lead will run out so Iron Man must conserve the fire power for whenit has to be used. Each level will have a similar goal to go from one end to the other by defeating enemies. This sounds simple enough but each level will increase in difficulty until the final level that will be much harder than the first few levels. The levels will also look different so Iron Man will have to learn to navigate a new path through each level and face enemies attacking from different positions.Camera PositionThe camera will be positioned in such a way that the player will always be centered on the screen. The player will be able to move left to right and right to left. Theplayer’s main goal will be to continue moving left through each level until they reach the end of the game. All enemies will be moving through there progression entering onto thescreen only when the player enters their area.Interface MockupLevel OneLevel TwoLevel ThreeLevel FourReplayingThe player has a health bar that starts at 100 at the start of each level. When the players health bar reaches zero the player will die. Once a player dies they will be taken to a death screen and from there back to the title screen. From the title screen the player can reselect any of the four levels. Control SummaryThe following is a list of controls for the player:UP ARROW – Player will jump into the airDOWN ARROW – The player will crouch in the duck positionLEFT ARROW – The player will move left on the screenRIGHT ARROW – The player will move right on the screenSPACE BAR – The player will fire a bullet in the direction they are facingRIGHT ALT – The player will punch in the direction they are facingGame Play DetailsOverall game play will be set with one character Iron Man and many enemies to destroy. Iron Man will be placed on the screen with a horizontal view. When the character moves there will be a side scrolling to move from area to area. The side scrolling will take the character to the end of the level, and at the end of the level a boss character will confront the player and once defeated the character will move onto the nextlevel. The levels of the game will take place in the past to begin with and continue through time. Each level will be structured the same with enemies being characters from that particular time and environment. As each level is passed the player will continue onto the next level with more difficult enemies. The enemies will be more difficult due to an increase in speed and attack. The main character will be able to move in all directions along the horizontal plane. Jumping and ducking will allow the player to avoid enemies as well as their attacks. The player will also have use of weapons all derived from the magnetic field. The player’s standard attack will be to shoot iron bullets from his body. This attack will have a limit on use. The players other attack will be to magnetically punch his enemy up close. This attack requires the player to be close to the target to execute effectively. The main character will have a health bar and a weapon bar. The health bar will be large enough to allow the player to take a few attack damages. To regain health the player will have to find health power ups along the game board. The weapons bar will show how much fire power the player has before they run out. Fire power ups can be found on the game board as well.StorytellingThe game to be created will be called “Iron Man: Return from Darkness”. The story will be based on the song Iron Man composed by Ozzie Osborn. The game will feature a character named Oz who was turned evil by society and searches to exactvengeance upon those who have betrayed him. Oz has the ability to travel through time so he will be in different time periods battling the people of those times. Oz will battle people with the use of his powers gained from the earth’s magnetic field. Oz can not stop until he has satisfied his vengeance and made society pay for turning on him. The story will begin in the past and continue on into the future as each generation will pay for
