When I lecture, when you guys give mini presentations on thedifferent chapters, and even when our two competing candidates debate about hot issues that effect you and I are all examples of public speaking.In addition to the speeches that you will give in this lass and during you college career, you will also be called on to make formal as well as informal speeches throughout your life. And an example would be that you could have a make a presentation about a new product at a sales meeting or even present your company’s rules and regulations to a group of new sales assosciates, or you could even give a speech about your family genealogy at a family reunion. But, regardless of the circumstances under which you give a speech you will find thetaking the appropriate steps will ease the anxiety of Public Speaking as well as aid in the process of preparing. First let’s take a look at the benefits and skills of public speaking. I think we could all agree that public speaking is an art and a number of people fear it!!! It ranks right up there with death.Public speaking draws together a wide variety of social, academic, and career skills.
