It is hypothesized that these coatings will resist fouling and may be useful for implantable devices. Last Week’s Goals • Create solutions • Test solution on preliminary latex • Determine outreach presentation topic • Review journal articles Accomplishments • Contacted catheter companies • Research into latex surface properties• Reviewed biomaterial journals This Week’s Goals • Acquire proper latex catheter for testing as substrate • Create Ethyl Eosin solution • Create hydrogel on latex surface • Begin work on mid-semester
