The method or device developed must be better than the current methods. A new method or device must be collapsible, and compatible with current ambulatory stretchers. Most importantly, the final device must meet all federal safety child seat guidelines. Restatement of Team Goals from Last Week: Since not all of our team members were able to meet our client, we will explain the purpose and the aim of the project to them in class tomorrow (9/9/05). Thereafter we will finish the PDS and begin brainstorming possible design solutions. Summary of Accomplishments This Week: This week we met in class and identified the different subjects that must be researched prior to beginning any type of design. We divided the research among ourselves and met on WednesdayProfessor Mitch Tyler BME 400 2to discuss the findings. At this meeting, we identified where further research was required and once again broke up the work among the five group members. The preliminary PDS was also completed. Individual Goals for this week: 1. Ross: Email Nadine Levick, edit pds, research 2. Aman: Research, edit pds, contact Marilyn Bull 3. Erik: research, edit pds, update website, meet with Dr. Brazelton’s team 4. Karim: research, edit pds, meet with Dr. Brazelton’s team 5.
