This WebQuest will prepare you for this first milestone in your teaching career. Task It has probably been a while since you studied Piaget’s theory. The Process section of this outline will guide you through exercises that will help you to become more familiar with Piaget and his theory. Your final task will be to create a lesson plan based on Piaget’s developmental theory and test it on the class. Process Week One: 1. First, you will gather information on the cognitive terms and stages of Piaget’s Developmental theory. 2. Next, you will be assigned to a group of three students and give a group presentation of examples of cognitive activities that promote cognitive development. 3. You will make an outline comparing and contrasting Piaget’s theory to another major cognitive theory 4.
