Introduction to Class ProjectDirections/ ObjectivesPurpose of WebQuestResourcesProcessEvaluationConclusionGetting the Most for your E-Commerce Dollar By Josh Gilliam Introduction to Class Project When we shop for the products we need it seems as if we grab the first available product. Not many people bargain shop anymore. As the Internet allows us to shop from home we should take time and look at who can offer us the best product for the lowest cost. In this WebQuest you will be charged with the task of finding a program for our computer lab. The computer lab needs a new graphics program, but we want to get the product that best fits our budget and our needs. We have decided that the best choices are Photoshop, Freehand, and Illustrator. The decision of which program to use will be based upon your research and product evaluation. Directions/ Objectives It is your task to find the best of the three programs for your computer lab. Using the Web resources provided below, search each site and retrieve all of the information you feel will be beneficial to make a decision. Take into account factors such as price, availability, discounts, reviews, and ect. Each Web resource will have some of the same information as well as differing information. This may be turned in by hand or e-mailed to the instructor in MS Word. I remind you once again, remember to question your sources. Bias is everything. Evaluation Students will be evaluated on their ability to analyze the differing pieces of information. The better analysis provided the better the grade. The student will provide a breakdown for each program (Photoshop, Freehand, and Illustrator). This breakdown willconsist of the pros and cons of each program. The breakdown will end with the choice of which program the lab should use and why. Thoroughness and good information discrimination will be need for a good evaluation. Conclusion After completing the WebQuest the students should possess a better understanding of how to comparison-shop both in actual stores and online. They will also better understand how to decipher information to find the best product or
