Your second excused absence you are only eligible for attendance points and are not permitted to take the quiz. Extenuating circumstances will be handled on a case-by-case basis. •Acceptable illness that require treatment by doctors, participation on UMass sports team, jury duty, and family emergencies. You must show documentation •Notify your TA as soon as possible (preferably ahead of time). •Try to find another discussion section to attend during the same week if possible •You must notify your TA and the TA whose section you plan to attend•Unexcused absences –All other absences without documentation count as an unexcused absence (i.e. alarm didn’t go off, forgot it was Monday).
