February 27 2015 Mexican army plays a song on top of the hill o Shoots cannons on fire at the Alamo Hollywooded Everyone wakes up in the morning at the exact same time Travis and Bowie are talking o Travis is getting on to Bowie for disobeying his orders o Travis also says they need to start agreeing o Bowie says it s the way Travis says things Also that the men hardly understood his words anyway Mexican army moved the cannons closer during the night o They are afraid of Davy Crockett but not Santa Anna Crockett shoots towards Santa Anna but the wind kicked up The Mexican army gets angry and shoots some more cannons One of the cannonballs doesn t explode and Travis orders someone to pick it up o They say he can pick it up himself because they are all still afraid o He does and everyone gains more respect for him Travis says to fire one from each cannon and everybody pauses until Bowie says to listen to him o They all have listened to Bowie before and now he s handing over some respect to Travis o They fire their cannons Travis sends a message to Houston soldier s death o He wants help but says if he doesn t get help he will stay at the Alamo until he dies a o Houston says he will raise an army and protect the Alamo but only after they create their own government that every nation in the world will recognize which is what every dead man at the Alamo was fighting for Bowie asks what happened to Crockett s cap o He only wears it when it s extra cold He says the truth is that he didn t start wearing it until the guy in his show did He says people expect things o Bowie jokes about all the outlandish things that people said he could do like jumping a river and riding a lightning bolt Bowie faints o Lady says he is burning with fever Houston makes plans to relieve the Alamo from the west o Messenger says the militia belongs to them and will not be commanded o Houston says he commands all or he commands none Mexican army sneaks up to the Alamo o Alamo men bring out the cannons and guns o Mexican army is measuring the Alamo men s strength o Alamo men shoot a bunch of the Mexican army men and they retreat Alamo men take torches outside the Alamo o Set some huts on fire o Mexican army men jump out of the hut to get to Crockett o He kills them all very dramatically and calmly Hollywooded o He talks to a dying boy and asks him his name but he dies before he can find out the answer Everyone congratulates Crockett Mexican army plays their song again Gonzalez Texas Bowie is laying in one of the buildings dying o Houston is with his men o Messenger comes o Houston says they need more men They have 124 men who cannot pierce the army of thousands He says there s 400 men in Goliad o Houston says the messenger cannot leave even though he gave his word People are asking Crockett around the fire about all of his glory and stories o He says he wasn t in but one real scrape in his life Redskin War o Says he can t eat potatoes anymore because they shot a woman and set the house on fire with people in it in the morning the potatoes in the cellar were cooked and they ate them because they had had nothing but parched corn for months Bowie is dying o The woman says he s already dead figuratively o He s been stabbed through the lungs and shot twice o Other woman turns into the lady that Bowie once lost Whole bunch of men come into the Alamo to help o About every able bodied man in Gonzalez o Leader says that the group from Goliad should have already been there o Crockett breaks up the incoming panic and says Let s hear it for Gonzalez boys Everyone whoops and is excited again except the leaders Santa Anna is talking to his men o He says to send a message that any native Mexican who wants to come out the Alamo is o Says that it will make other men think about escape and not only about what they need allowed to live to do One of the Alamo men is shouting at the Mexican army that they are yellow Bowie thanks the woman that is tending to him Bowie also tells the man that he will be his property until he dies o The man thought that Bowie was giving him his papers The woman that is tending to him is the sister of the lady that he lost o She said that they are blood Crockett and Travis talk o Crockett learned a lot in Washington but never learned to lie o He says the people have done a lot and thinks they deserve to know the truth Travis shows the people the letters that prove that help may never arrive o He fears that no one is coming o He says that Texas has given him the chance to be a better man o Wants to give an inspirational speech Deal a crippling blow to the army of Santa Anna o Says that whoever wants to leave they may leave now However whoever wants to stay will sell their lives dearly o Happy music no one leaves of course Travis goes to visit Bowie o Bowie wants the door open for the light o Travis admits that he told the men everything and wants to tell Bowie too o Bowie says he could hear it through the door o Travis says they could try to get Bowie out to get him help if he goes with an escort Even if he is captured they might show him mercy because he is almost dead o Bowie says he doesn t deserve mercy o Travis says he ll see about getting Bowie alcohol Mexican army is playing their music again o Crockett brings his violin up to the top and starts playing his music o Everyone is smiling o Crockett says it s amazing what a little harmony will do o No fighting ensues o Happy music Red sky at night sailor s delight
