March 2 2015 Bowie is given two guns by Crockett o Crockett leaves Santa Anna is making plans for attack o General Castillon asks whether they can wait for the next day so that they can get their 12 pound cannon o Santa Anna says no o GC asks about wasting soldiers lives o Santa Anna says they are as dispensable as chickens o He argues that he is in charge and that they will take no prisoners Mexican army makes their move during the night o Texan guards are sleeping o Mexican army is highly trained Dawn is approaching o Crockett keeps playing the same note Everyone else is asleep o Mexican army marches forward towards the wall o Mexican soldier stabs a Texan outside the wall with his bayonet o Crockett hears a sound and peeks over the wall He shoots a solider Everyone wakes up and joins the fight o Texans are shooting the Mexican army from the top of the wall Shooting cannons to take down more soldiers o Mexican army finds a way in o Major fatalities for the Mexican army o Mexican army puts up ladders to climb over the wall Texans keep shooting them down o Someone gets shot o Mexican army is trying to hack down the wall with axes o Now Texans are having major fatalities They fall back and the Mexican army overtakes them o Crockett is still alive and is running everywhere trying to defend the Alamo o Bowie tries to defend himself with the guns Army comes in and stabs him to death o Crockett comes to face to face combat Houston is sitting there Vultures are flying over the Alamo Santa Anna says that if Crockett wants to beg for his life now would be the time o Guard says he is at the mercy of Santa Anna o Crockett says That s Santa Anna Thought he d be taller o Crockett says to tell the general that he is willing to negotiate surrender If the men lay down their weapons he will take them to Houston and try to save their lives but no promises o Guard instead tells Santa Anna that Crocket said THEY should surrender o Crockett gets stabbed to death Sam Houston is on his way with his men and they are lighting fire to everything o They say to leave none for the Mexicans Santa Anna knows that Houston is on his way and makes plans to separate his force to send some towards Houston Houston and Santa Anna plan for each other s attacks Houston says to burn the bridge behind the Mexican camp Houston asks Seguin to take him and his men and start guarding the camp o Seguin asks for more and Houston says he can have left flank Houston gives an inspiring speech on his white stallion with his sword drawn o Hollywooded Texans advance o They shoot the cannons at the Mexican army o They advance further shouting Remember the Alamo o Houston s white stallion is wounded so he takes another horse o Texans jump over into Mexican territory o Mexican army is chased into the river and shot by the Texans Santa Anna s army was defeated in eighteen minutes Texans are trying to decide how to kill him o Houston says they ll settle for blood because he wanted Texas o In exchange for his life Santa Anna signed over the rights to Texas Juan Seguin kept his promise to return to the Alamo and buried the remains of his friends there where they still remain today Texas became a state nine years later Hollywooded Travis picks up the cannonball Davy Crockett plays the violin with the Mexican army o Evidence doesn t show that the Mexicans had an orchestra maybe just a bugle o Woman in the building was a survivor and does say that Crockett played the violin Davy Crockett gives Santa Anna a chance to surrender Shadows in the courtyard o Bowie really did marry a Mexican woman and they lived in San Antonio but she died Bowie was killed by bayonets o He was actually sick Bowie knife in the movie was twenty inches long o In reality the Bowie knife was fourteen inches long
