Temporary Marriage (Mut’ah)- A short-term marriage that can last for minutes, days, or weeks.- For the purpose of staying pure sexually; allows one to have sex with a temporary partner within amarriage- No divorce, it ends at a specified time- The wife does not receive any rights but if she does conceive a child during the temporary marriage, heis treated like a normal son and will receive inheritance.II. Wedding Customs and SymbolsA. Symbols in Marriage1. Ceremony is public2. It is a celebration3.
