Week 1 DQ3 In what ways does mass communication differ from interpersonal communication How is this distinction likely to change in the future and why Mass communication differs from interpersonal communication in different points The former gives an opportunity for a number of people to communicate in a single time while the latter embodies a more personal face to face type of communicating and eats up a person s time as it only allows one person to talk to another but is nevertheless very accurate Because of our modern time and busy lifestyle many opt for using those which saves time that is still able to reach their target market Such a distinction is likely to change in the future depending on those products made at present Using the brand Oakley as an example which is a brand known for manufacturing sunglasses may not be well known to the market for lack of appeal That is where the use of interpersonal communication will come into play so as to know the preference of the customer Such a general attack of advertising a form of interpersonal communication will be helpful in building the market or advertisement for the product
