Week 5 DQ2 Do industry professionals have the ethical responsibility to produce society making media rather than segment making media Why or why not Industry professionals have in my opinion an ethical responsibility to produce society making media rather than segment making media as they should in the first place be responsible on every type of media they produce every day This is because the media is very influential in today s society in different aspects Hence any type of media shall be responsible for its produce Take the example of a company of tobacco which must be accountable in labeling their products such as cigarettes Although there are advertisements attached by the media to the said product there must also be a warning to the health risks it poses and emphasize the same With this said it is not only the media which must have responsibility but also the product s industry as well
