Week Three DQ2 Many early television programs came over directly from radio As these programs became visual how would the family viewing experience differ What kind of effects might this have had on family life In a radio program family viewing experience varies because you could enjoy the show by making loud the volume without having to be actually in the room Several programs have now been shifted from radio to television and as television shows progresses you could no longer stay in another place and enjoy the program Families today have to gather in one place and watch the television as an entire family unit in one area of the house During the time of radio each individual in the family could work in another place as long they could listen to the program On the other hand television needs them to group and watch together As a consequence in the family life family now can work together as a whole Due to the latest development on television as it becomes smaller and inexpensive the family now has television in their own separate rooms and is now capable of watching their own choice of shows They no longer need to talk about the shows that they will watch and the place of each in their living room
