A group of 3 to 4 people will be responsible for a particular proposal.Guidelines for Planning Proposal and Gantt Chart: Your planning proposal should be a memo on letterhead to Thalia Anagnos (you can design any type of letterhead you like but don’t spend a lot of time on it). The Gantt chart must give actual dates (not week 1, 2, 3, ... instead Nov 1, Nov 10 etc.). The chart must have a title at the top and contain at least eight activities listed in a parallel format (Find, Research, Develop, Write, Submit, etc.). Examples of Gantt are found at http://www.ganttchart.com/Examples.html. You may use: the Baseline Gantt Example, Summary Gantt Example or the more sophisticated Dependencies Example. If you have access to Project Manager or other software, that is also acceptable. You may hand draw the Gantt chart or use Excel or the table feature of Word to build your Gantt chart. No PowerPoint slides are required, though you may use them.Guidelines for Formal Environmental Proposal- Formal report aimed at your client (a CEO of a high-tech company, a mayor, governor, a small start up company, etc.)- Well researched (citing at least 2-4 references per person including two or more sources obtained through library research including electronic databases), - Convincing and persuasive, - Approximately 4 to 6 pages per person NOT INCLUDING VISUALS. (12 point font, 1-inch margins. double spaced).
