I did this by creating the points individually, and connecting them with the make curve tool. Then draw the area above the right fender the same way. Notice how I pulled down the right side so it curves down. Now draw the shape of the back of the hood. Notice how it curves in on the top view to fit the windshield.Next, draw lines where there are curves in the hood. Make sure you weld all connections together.Use the mirror tool to make the other side of the hood. Make sure you merge the left front to the right front and the left back to the right back polygons using the merge polygonstool (shift z) under the Detail tab.Select the top part of the hood, and press ^f (spline patch tool). Specify the number of polygons you want Lightwave to create. I chose 48 but the default is 10.Make sure the double sided option is checked in the surface editor for this surface, or it wont show.Select the 4 boundaries of the left slope as shown, and press ^f to spline patch it. Make the perpendicular and parallel polygon count less since this surface is smaller. I used 12 for each.Select the 4 boundaries of the left slope as shown, and press ^f to spline patch it. Make the perpendicular and parallel polygon count less since this surface is smaller. I used 12.Select the 3 boundaries of the surface above the left fender and spline patch it. I made the perpendicular and parallel polygon count 24. Do the same thing to the right side of the hood for both the slope down and the surface above the right fender. In surface editor, select your desired surface settings. And your
