This essay is going to delve intothe difference between the two types of social scientists.Historians are social scientist’s that try to figure out how people thousands of years agolived. However, they can't do it alone. They depend on other social scientists such asgeographers, economists, and sociologists, just to name a few. these scientists are crucial forhistorians as they need them to evaluate historical evidence.Geographers look at the world around them to try and see how people lived many yearsago. They look at things like living conditions, land formations, and jobs. For example, if theylived on a mountain, they would have to travel far away to get food like bison, fish or evenplants. That is due to the fact that farms couldn’t be set up in the rocks of the mountain. Theseare the traits and skills that historians need from geographers. Historians may be able to figure out how people lived years ago, however geographersare more independent. They can figure out the way people sustained and lived a steadylifestyle without assistance just by looking at the earth surround them.
