There are however some extreme curvatures that are not healthy. Such as Kyphosis which is often seen in the older generation. It is a thoracic curvature that is dorsally exaggerated. It’s like the hunchback of Notre Dame back. The other that is not normal is the Scoliosis. If you look at someone’s back and the spine looks like an S, then that person probably has scoliosis. This is a lateral curvature. Another abnormality is called Lordosis. This occurs with pregnant women or when someone carries a large load up front. This is a lumbar
