Lily overcomes givenobstacles, and finds people who truly love her. I especially like thelast paragraph of this story. This paragraph shows that Lily departsfrom the previous life, which was horrible and starts to live her newlife with people who could take care of Lily and love Lily. I alsodeparted from my previous life and I am living a new life in newcountry. I think Lily dealt with a lot of situations in order to find anew life. In my case, I had to deal with the language differences andcultural differences. I am still making efforts in order to beaccustomed to live my new life. I will surely face with hardships andunexpected situations, but this warm, and beautiful story will helpme to console, and overcome. I have enjoyed this story so much.Question- If Deborah did not leave T. Ray, T. Ray would have treated Lily differently?- Think how Lily felt when she recognized that T. Ray loved her and her mother.Vocabulary- Ooze: when a thick or sticky liquid oozes from something or when something oozes it, the liquid flows slowly and in small quantities.- Stutter: if someone has a stutter, they find it difficult to say the first sound of a word, and so they often hesitate or repeat it two or three
