Late Policy: As I’ve said before, no late work will be accepted unless we’ve made prior arrangements. I understand that things happen and you may not be able to make it to class in emergency situations. I understand that these things may happen to one or more people throughout the semester and that they usually don’t happen until test days. Please, if you cannot make it to class on an exam day you MUST contact me before we take it in class to arrange a time to make it up. If you do not show up on an exam day and fail to contact me before, you will EARN A ZERO on that exam. Once an exam is administered, no make-up exam will be given. Given the class schedule that accompanies this syllabus, you are fully aware of tests days, review days and of their point values. With that understanding, I expect that all vacations, meetings and activities will be scheduled outside of our class meeting times. I understand that things do happen – keeping me informed will help me make other arrangements for you rather than if you were to simply “skip” it. Please understand that revisions to the class schedule may be necessary because of unforeseen circumstances. I can’t say it enough: it is important that you attend class each day to be sure you are up to date on any changes that are made.MTH 095-02: Basic MathematicsFall 2007Billie [email protected](517)787-0800 ext. 8333 – office; Office Hours: Room 150, McDivitt Hall, Monday & Wednesday 8:00 –8:45 a.m.; All others by appointment onlyAbout our Class: You have enrolled in Jackson Community College’s Basic Mathematics.
