RST 242Xin Li10/25/2022Reflection Narrative Paper 2In the prompt, we know that there are lots of factors that can influence views and personal values of people towards nature. Different people can have different perspective on the beauty and meaning of landscape. From lesson 2, I know that Americans was once regarded to be inferior to Europe because they were lack of topological significance. Since Americans began to explore New World, the wildness was brought to them, which made them to start appreciating the natural beauty. Conditions have totally changed. I lived in a big city in China and the city is very close to sea. The city leader pays lots of attentions on greenifying the landscape. The city looks beautiful: we can see trees everywhere and flowers are being treated carefully. When it comes to spring, different types of flowers bloom and help people have a good mood. This pretty scene should be enjoyed by many people but actually it does not. People in this city just focus on their phones orcomputers. They walked quickly to their job and never have a time to stop and appreciate those beautiful flowers and trees. Based on my experience, I think one factor that affect people’s perspective on nature is their lifestyle pace. If they have quick lifestyle pace, they will not keep their eyes on landscape. Another factor that I think may influence views of people on nature is theirhobbies. For those people who like swimming, they will prefer to appreciate sea and for those who enjoy rock climbing, it is more likely for them to like
