RST 242Reflection 5 November 26, 2017After learning about Leopold’s “land ethic,” my attitudes towards National Parks are verypositive because I believe they are valuable when it comes to preserving nature. After taking thepersonal values online quiz, it is clear to that kindness, empathy, and consideration are important to me. These attitudes tie in very well with my ideas about nature and how I strive to protect it because I want to be kind to all of the beautiful nature that surrounds me. I also show a lot of consideration when protecting nature by putting in time and thought when thinking about natural resources and how they can be preserved, as well as how the natural beauty in the world can be protected so other people can also admire nature. I also like to seek opportunities that will allow me to develop and learn from my experiences. In the past I never put much thought about my feelings towards nature, but after learning a large amount about how valuable nature is, I began to seek ways in which I can improve nature not only in the local community but throughout the world. I also search for ways I can enjoy the natural beauty around me in order to understand the value of nature to a greater extent. For example, I have visited National Parks all throughout my life and have gained an understanding about the importance of
