Lauren KurtzBMGT360 – 0105December 30, 2012Assignment 9CompTech It appears as though CompTech has evident issues in their hiring process. By hiring a full-time Training and Development Manager, they can assure that all managers undergo a uniform training process that will accurately prepare them for their position. As per tradition, CompTech tends to hire approximately sixty percent of their managers from outside of the company; this directly affects how groomed a manager is when starting in a new position. For instance, more than half of newly hired managers are not familiar with anything about how the business works, let alone how to properly manage one of the stores. This means that the training process must be much more in depth for the managers coming in from outside of the company.
