Course Requirements ChecklistAfter reading the Course Syllabus and Student Expectations, the student will complete the related checklist found in Module/Week 1.C. Discussion Board Forums (5)Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student will be required to participate in 5 Discussion Board Forums. Each forum will address a specific topic pulled from the course study materials found in the corresponding Reading & Study folders. A thread of at least 250 words, but no morethan 400 words, in response to the topic/question will be required along with 2 replyposts to classmates, each consisting of at least 100 words but no more than 250 words. Threads and replies must include at least 1 idea/term from the textbook citedand referenced in current APA Format.D. APA Research ProjectThe student will complete APA research assignment in 3 stages as he/she works toward his/her final submission of an Annotated Bibliography. These assignments must all be in current APA format and will be based on 5 peer-reviewed journal articles obtained through the Jerry Falwell Library. At a specified point early in the course, the student will select a topic and identify 5 references/journal articles.E. Case StudyA 3-page APA-style paper, based on the provided case study, will be required. This assignment will test knowledge on information gained during the course and will require the student to use only the course textbook as his/her cited source.F. Final Five WishesThe student will compose a short essay dealing with the Final Five Wishes addressed in Module/Week 8. The paper must be at least 250 words in no fewer than 3 paragraphs. The student must personally answer and discuss the Final Five Wishes questions presented, and end with a clear personal response regarding this assignment. APA format is not required for this assignment.G. Quizzes (8)The student will complete 8 open-book/open-notes quizzes each containing 50 multiple-choice questions that are based on the Reading and Study material assigned within each module/week. Late assignments submitted within one week of the due date will receive a 10% deduction.2. Assignments submitted more than one week late will receivea 20% deduction.3. Assignments submitted two weeks late or after the final date of the course will not be accepted.4.
