Dq 1 and 2 Dq 1 Dq 2 The scenario described in this week s reading is a very realistic possibility In a given situation I would have to be a rat too and be honest with my Captain about what I saw It would be a difficult situation to be in but I am an honest person and I have had to be a rat in the past It is not a good feeling to have your co workers turn on you especially when there is a chance that your life may depend on their support I would be honest with what I saw and probably end up asking for a transfer after the tire slashers found out that I gave them up It is my belief that noble cause corruption is excusable in cases of murder I do believe that it is an unethical tactic that should not be used on a consistent basis or with petty criminals There are cases when an officer may have to fight dirty to protect an innocent life or to catch a killer in these situations I believe it is justified I put myself in the position of a victim if someone kidnapped my child and holding the child for ransom I would want the officer s to do whatever it takes to get my child back and if the officer s did not do what I believe is his best to apprehend the criminal I would more than likely take matters into my own hands
