Ho Chi MinhCurrent LectureHome Front -Violated civil liberties-Wilson tried to stamp out any anti-war activism-Wave of anti-German sentiment: took away anything that associated with Germans; Robert Prager was lynched because he make a positive comment about the Germans and many people did not like that so a mob wanted to lynch him and he had to send a letter to his parents explaining why he was going to die;Robert Goldstein produced Spirit of 76 which was about the American Revolutionary War, he had to take out the parts that portrayed bad acts of the British, a few videos still had the original scenes so we was sent to jail, trial, he ends back in Germany in the concentration camps-Espionage and Sedition Act- can’t speak out against the country or the drafWilson’s 14 Points-Wilson made a plan to create world order “peace plan”-1. Freedom of the seas-stop sea warfare-2. Free trade-open door policy These notes represent a detailed interpretation of the professor’s lecture.
