Pre-lab Guidelines for titration lab Period 1Pre-lab guidelines for Titration Lab Period 2SPRING 2002 CHEM 14CL Expt. 8 - The Determination of the Concentration and Acid Dissociation Constants of an Amino Acid Pre-lab is due at the beginning of the lab section. Pre-lab report MUST be written inside your LAB NOTEBOOK. PRE-LAB GUIDELINES FOR TITRATION LAB PERIOD 1 PERIOD 1 PRELAB IS DUE ON EITHER 4/4 OR 4/5 DEPENDING ON THE DAY OF YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED LAB. Refer to the lab manual for the structures of the A & A- forms of the amino acid. Also, when solving question #3, think about what chemical reaction took place when HCl was added to a mixture of A & A-. How about when NaOH was added to a mixture of A & A-?
