Guest Lecture about AdvertisingCurrent Lecture22 squared Advertising Agency Guest Lecture. -- Their mission is to make brands exponential and generate conversation on a consistent basis.-- They are full service meaning they have a strategy team, creative team, tech development (coders who build the sites), social team, and media team. The performance team is the team who determines what was successful and what needs to be changed.-- The social team is important for advertisers. They handle interactions with audiences and work to understand how social media is changing from day to day. -- Some of their clients are Dunkin Donuts, Public, Marriott, Kelloggs.What is traditional advertising? — television ads, print ads, etc.The average smartphone user touchers their phone 150x a day.The Rules for Engagement as it relates to social media:1) Start with the Consumer 2) Content is King3) Data Trumps All- Start With the Consumer — it’s important to understand not just what consumers do on the journey, but how/when/why it’s done.- Content Is King — the distracted consumer needs thumb-stopping content.
