attitude belief value Health overall condition of body or mind and the presence or absence of illness or injury Wellness optimal health and vitality encompassing all the dimensions of wellbeing Morbidity the relative incidence of disease among a population Mortality the number of deaths in a population in a given period of time usually expressed Risk factors a condition that increases one s chances of disease or injury as a ratio such as 75 deaths per 1000 members of the population Life expectancy The period of time a member of a given population is expected to live Chronic disease a disease that develops and continues over a long period of time such as heart disease or cancer Functional impairment Functional impairment is a health condition in which the normal function of a part of the body is less than full capacity The types of impairments that may be sustained range from mild situations that involve only a slight loss in function to total impairment that is often considered a full disability The signs of a functional impairment typically include manifestations of some sort of decrease in ability that is noticeable to others Attitude feelings predispositions Belief emotionally or intellectually accepted as true Value a preference Identify define describe and provide examples of the dimensions of wellness Physical i Ability to maintain a healthy quality of life that allows us to get through our ADL without fatigue or physical stress 1 PA exercise responsibility for own health healthy eating know signs and symptoms 2 There is a relationship between
