Domenica DiStasioUnit 3 ReflectionDear Domenica,I think your unit 3 essay really showed progress in this class as a writer. I know you really worked hard to organize your paragraphs and to separate your writing into more paragraphs, which has been something that you struggle with. Your sentence structure was really well written, I think, and this was something that I am glad you were able to improve and get better with. I know you have never really struggled with grammar, but you do sometimes struggle with grammar in your in-text citations and works cited page, but I think you got the handle of this. Adding a picture into this research paper was a lot fun and a change up of just writing a paper. You were able to show a different side ofyour writing by describing the image and using another media to do so. Researching a topic and then researching art or pictures on the topic was a change of scenery. I know you liked being able to write about the picture and interpret it in your own way, while alsogetting further research done on the topic. I also think this writing piece was your best because research papers are things that you are familiar with and pretty good at. Being a psychology/biology double major, I know you do way more research papers than you do other writing. You enjoyed being able to learn about a topic that you are interested in, andby doing this through research you kind of get lost in books and the web when you are doing it. Well done on Unit 3! Sincerely,
