Response 4 1 We know that Genesis comes from two sources because the first two chapters are contradictory of each other In the first chapter animals were created first and man and woman were created last and in the second chapter man was created then animals and finally woman 2 The most common features of the creation myths are that humans were made of clay In most of the creation myths men were fashioned by red clay 3 I think animals were involved in so many creation myths because along with humans they are the other form of living beings and needed to be explained as well 4 The far eastern creation myths mainly focused on the first man becoming the features of earth as well as man and woman 5 I think many of creation myths seem super unrealistic because of all the scientific knowledge we have today In 2000 years we will have far more knowledge and Genesis and the Big Bang Theory will also seem far more unrealistic than they do now
