ECE 201 Lecture 24 Borja Peleato Op Amp Circuits 1 Review In the last lecture we saw three important op amp circuits Inverting amplifier Non inverting amplifier Buffer 2 Concatenation These circuits can be concatenated as building blocks for larger circuits If the op amp is ideal the output does not depend on the load 3 Non ideal effects If the gain of the op amp is large but not infinite does the Vout Vin change much 4 Non ideal effects II If the output resistance of the op amp is not 0 will the output resistance of the amplifier circuit change much output resistance should be minimized so that the output does not change with the load 5 6 Amplifier circuits The amplifier circuits that we described in the previous lecture are specially good Even if the op amp components are not ideal the circuits behave as if they were Some configurations are better than others due to the feedback loops but we do not discuss that in 201 7 Example 8 9 10 Example 2 Find Iout Solution 11 12
