Assignment:Begin a new drawing and set the working layer to “0”.With Design Center, you can organize access to drawings, blocks, hatches, and other drawing content. You can drag content from any source drawing to your current drawing. You can drag drawings, blocks, and hatches to a tool palette. Source drawings can be on your computer, on a network location, or on a website. In addition, if you have multiple drawings open, you can use Design Center to streamline your drawing process by copying and pasting other content, such as layer definitions, layouts, and text styles between drawings.The Design Center can be accessed in several ways: Ribbon: Blocks & References tab/ Content panel/ Design Center. Toolbar: Standard Menu: Tools/ Palettes/ Design CenterAt the Command prompt, enter adcenter.Select the DC Online tab to access Design Center Online. Once the Design Center Online window is open, you canbrowse, search, and download content to use in your drawing. Design Center Online provides access to pre-drawn content such as blocks, symbol libraries, manufacturers' content, and online catalogs. This content can be used in common design applications to assist you in creating yourdrawings.In the Design Center Online window, two panes are displayed—a right pane and a left pane. The right pane is called the content area. The content area displays the items or folders that you selected in the left pane. The left pane can display one of the following four views:- Category Listing. Displays folders containing libraries of standard parts, manufacturer-specific content, and content aggregator websites. - Search. Searches for online content. You can query items with Boolean and multiple-word search strings. - Settings. Controls how many categories and items are displayed on each page in the content area as a result of a search or folder navigation. - Collections. Specifies the discipline-specific content types that are displayed in Design Center Online.Select the Category Listing by clicking the heading at the top of the left pane.Click on the (+) to expand the 2D Architectural folder.In the Furniture Folder select at least three pieces of furniture for the Dining Room, Living/Family Room, and Bedroom. Select the piece of furniture in the right pane and drag the symbol into the drawing. Arrange the symbols on the drawing.1CAD ApplicationsAssignment #9Create a layer A-FURN and set the color to 80. Explode each symbol using the EXPLODE command. Change the layer of each symbol from Layer 0 to Layer A-FURN.Block each symbol using the BLOCK command. Type BLOCK to access the Block Definition dialog box.In the name section select the name of the symbol.Select the Pick Point button in the Base point section and assign a base point to the symbolSelect the Select Objects button in the Objects section and select all of the entities of the symbol.Select the Convert to Block button in the Objects section to convert the symbol to a block.Click the OK button to complete the blocking command. When prompted to update the definition select the YES option. Do this for each symbol.CAD ApplicationsAssignment #92Click on the (+) to expand the 2D Architectural folder.In the Landscaping Folder select at least one single tree symbol and one Tree Clump symbol and drag the symbol into the drawing. Arrange the symbols on the drawing.Create a layer A-PLNT-TREE and set the color to 3 (Green). Explode each symbol using the EXPLODE command. Change the layer of each symbol from Layer 0 to Layer A-PLNT-TREE.Convert each landscaping symbol to a block using the above procedure.Save the finished drawing to your working disk.
