Teamwork, Problem Solving, & Critical Thinking–2. Effective Written and Oral Communications•Both modules must be passed to pass the class. •Failure in either module leads to failure in the class.•Course Grade is average of Modules 1 and 2.–Both modules equally weighted–Plus and Minus Grades will be usedModule 1:Teamwork, Problem Solving & Critical Thinking•Work in teams on:–Teams’ Exercises–Lower Division Core Cases–Ethics Cases•Grade will depend upon:–Instructor Evaluation of Case Analysis and Team Exercises–Peer Evaluation by Team MembersModule 2:Written and Oral Communication•Written Assignments–Writing grade on three LDC cases–One or two other written assignments (TBA)•Oral Presentations (Formal and Informal)–As part of your team’s LDC case presentation–As part of a challenge team for LDC case–Contribution to class via class participation•Individual participation in class exercises, readings, activitiesTips to Succeed in Gateway•Complete all assignments before class•Invest in your team–Remember you are learning how to build an effective team •Plan ahead and budget time for class–Take LDC exams early and get them out of the way •Learn from each other –Take advantage of LDC subject area expertise within your teamBUS 302L – Gateway Lab•You must take BUS 302L either:–Prior to taking BUS 302 –OR at the same time you take BUS 302•You will not be able to enroll in 400-level business classes until you pass both BUS 302 and 302L.•Enroll now – all 302L sections are open; there are no class size
