Sad mood or loss of interest or pleasure that are present every day for at least due weeks not due to normal bereavement. Plus at least four of the other symptoms.

1. Episodic-dissipates over time 2. Recurrent-Future episodes likely to have (av. 4)
Subclinical Despression
A sub-set of MDD of sadness plus three other symptoms for 10 days.
Dysthymia
Chronic disturbance of mood, not as severe as depression. At least 2 years but 2 other symptoms
Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD)
Premenstrual symptoms severe enough to significantly disrupt a woman's functioning
Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder

Bipolar I
One episode of mania that may have a major depressive episode
Bipolar II
At least one major depressive episode with an episode of hypomania
cyclothymia
2-year duration of numerous alternating periods of hypomanic symptoms and depressive symptoms
Anxiety
Apprehension about future threat

Response to an immediate threat
