He was a member of the Steppenwolf. He focused on lives of mid westerners and their challenges and responses. His famous works are Killer Joe and August Osage County.i. August Osage County is a three act play that is about a family of self-destruction of drugs, lies, and prejudice. This play is like that of death of asalesman, journey days into night, and cat on a hot tin roof. This play has had 648 performances.II. Postmodernism is the reexamining of traditional attitudes and ideas about the structure or function of theatre. Some traits that may apply to this is authorship, plot/structure questioning, and what is the significance of the presented materials to the audience. This mixed styles, medias, and elements of past ideas and concepts.a. Anne Bogart was a director and theorist. She created the SITI Company (SaratogaInternational Theatre Institute), which trained actors. There were two styles in which they trained actors:i. Suzuki was the physical training of the body and voice that was very military inspired. ii. View Points was a language for actors, designers, and choreographers to talk about what happens on stage.
