As we get started this week, we need to talk about the implementation of quality managementand risk management programs in health care. Elaborate on how leadership in your organization supports the implementation of quality management or risk management programs. What seems to be effective or ineffective? What would you recommend to increase leadership support or involvement in these programs in your organization?Quality management is overseeing activities and tasks which are needed to maintain desired level of excellence. It is also creating and implicating quality planning and assurance as well as quality control and improvement. Risk management is the overall systematic approach in analyzing the risk and risk controls. Leadership is imperative with any business especially if you want to be successful. The leadership role should be someone who is positive, upbeat, enthusiastic and embraces change. We live in a world that is ever changing and in successful organizations, it is more common than not. The organization I work for is always changing. We manufacture and rent pumps. Our customers range from other local business to the entertainment industry for movie sets. Our leaders are knowledgeable about our products, embrace change, positive, and career driven for success. An individual who is not career driven and negative is not going to be good for your organization. An individual who lacks product knowledge and does not show interest in learning more about the company will not last too long. It is important to find individuals who are willing to grow within your organization and stay up to date with the latest technology. In healthcare, this industry is always changing as well. New procedures, technology, a lot of room for growth. I believe with any field, you learn something new everyday and if you stay focused and career driven and keep a plosive outlook on life and your job, you will be a great asset to any company.Response 2To develop a comprehensive risk management program depends on addresses several specificconsiderations. The manager takes on plenty of responsibilityin my organization because she has to deal withpatients complaints and make sure that they are happy and satisfied at all times. In order for the management to operate she has to depend on the front desk to do their job correctly. Leadership requires doing the right thing for the organization and making the right choices that will make the organization successful. What iseffective in my organization is that they offera class for those you want to become a CNA. Once they complete the class and pass the exam the company willoffer them aposition with the company. They only offer the class once a year for $500 dollars. The organization trains thestudents very well and show them while showing them whatthey need to know to keep the patients happy and to pass the licensingexam. The only recommendation that I have formy organization is for them to reward and appreciate their employees more. To increase the leadership process they cantrain employees with some sort of leadership trainingthat will give the employees the opportunity to grow in the company. All employees like to start a job and learn how to get to the
