Biological Determinism- The center/driving force of the discussion about race. The idea that each racial group has its own unique biology, you biology determines what happens.II. Human Genome Project- Humans share 99% of the same genes. A “race” gene does not exist, Ancestors & region of the world determine appearance, Racial categories are imprecise.III. Social Construction of Race- people make race significant, US census categories have had several changes, Racial Stratification- racial groups are ranked.IV.
