MTE 494 GSP LAB (03/04)Creating dynamic diagrams and using the Trace and Locus features of GSPIn a recent class we used a GSP sketch featuring a dynamic simulation involving a diagram that modeled a quantitative situation (i.e., the A-Frame-Barn). The simulation was linked to a Cartesian graph that captured a relationship of variation between quantities depicted in the diagram. This lab lesson will provide you with an opportunity to learn the basics of making such sketches, and to learn some features of GSP that can beparticularly useful in teaching. We will do this by working through two examples: Example 1: Creating a triangle and graphing the relationship between two attributes. (Follow the sequence of steps starting on page 7 of the accompanying handout; circled page numbers determine the order of the sequence)Example 2: Using GSP’s graphing
