Option 2: Childhood Obesity DUE: 10-15-13This assignment involves two components. First, you will watch the HBO documentary The Weight of The Nation, Part3: Children in Crisis (http://theweightofthenation.hbo.com/films/main-films/Crisis) segment on childhood obesity. Second, you will conduct a brief interview with a healthcare professional with direct knowledge of childhood obesity. Appropriate healthcare professionals may include pediatricians, pediatric nurses, school nurses, or pediatric dietitians. Develop a set of interview questions to ask the healthcare professional for an interview that lasts approximately 15 minutes. The interview may be conducted over the phone. You should create your own set of questions that ask the interviewees to relate some of the concepts from the film to their own work with children, and to address any questions that may have been raised for you by the film that you think someone with applied, clinical experience may be able to answer.
