Arc Length of curves in space 4. Functions of several variables and their limits 5. Partial derivatives 6. Extrema of functions of 2 or 3 variables 7. Lagrange multipliers 8. Double and triple integrals and their applications 9.Integrals in polar form and in cylindrical and spherical coordinates 10. line and surface intefrals 11. Conservative fields and potential functions 12. Green’s Theorem, Stokes’ Theorem and the Divergence Theorem Course learning objectives For the student to be able to: 1. Work with functions of several variables 2. Use partial derivatives and multiple integrals in applications 3. Use line integrals and surface integrals in applications 4.
