Textbook: U.S A Narrative History by John Davidson. Volume 2 Transferability: His 104 transfers as a Social and Behavioral Science (SB) or Historical Awareness (H) credit. MCCCD Course Competencies 1. Describe westward expansion in the aftermath of Reconstruction 2. Describe the emergence of America as an economic and technological power. 3. Describe urbanization and industrialization. 4. Describe the ideology of capitalism and the creation of a climate for political and financial development. 5. Describe mass migration. 6. Describe social reform during the Industrial Age. 7. Describe the theories and practice which promoted growth of enormous corporations and capital formations. 8.
