Women on London Stage- Video shown on how women fit in on the London stage.o The life wasn’t glamorous for women, they were thought of as whores and many were mistreated.- Issues- o The actress would work her way up in theatre, and she would be courted by many men, some eventually became mistresses.o Often times when this happened they would leave the stage completely.o Companies were constantly looking for more actresses.These notes represent a detailed interpretation of the professor’s lecture.
