He is talking about how people want to separate clinical and research psy but the two should be one in the same because both parts are equally important. b. Richard Mcfall “scientific clinical psychology is the only legitimate and acceptable form of psychology” Scenario: You are a counselor at a high school and there are a few delinquents that the principle doesn’t want to suspend them because the school gets money per student. (Young delinquents are brought to a jail and shown what their future could be.) ‘Most kids change to some degree in a positive way.’Does this mean that scared straight works?
