Jaylene Smith Puspa P Mirchandani ENC 2135 March 28 2022 1 What is your major My major is Nursing 2 What is the topic of your Persuasive MultiGenre Project Interpersonal Treatment between Nurses Coworkers and Patients 3 What do you want to create public awareness about and why is it important I want to create awareness about how healthy relationships and personal treatment inside the workplace builds a better environment that can bring better understanding and good performances as a team This will also create awareness to the type of treatment patients receive on a more personal side specially to patients that have to constantly visit the hospital and need to build a certain connection with the staff that attends their case I believe that it is important to build awareness on this side of the job since it is key to feeling comfortable specially since nurses have to deal with a lot of stress and it can be very beneficial to practice building good connections with the people around you from the very beginning of your career because this gives you the experience to continue to do so when you work on a professional matter 4 What are the three genres you will be creating for the persuasive informative and narrative Moreover you must tell me clearly Narrative Video on the topic of how to build a comfortable environment with your coworkers and how to speak to patients using the right words and tones depending on the situation Informative Pampleth that can be handed to Nursing students which contains guidance on how important it is to have a connection with their patients and how this will help everyone feel more secure under the pressure of the situations that happen inside a hospital room Persuasive Instagram account directed to patients with information to make this audience feel more open to asking questions and bring up conversations with the nurses that are taking care of them since this will make them feel more comfortable during their procedure 5 Who is your audience for each of the artifacts Young Adults who are Nursing Students since starting to work on their confidence and speech from the beginning will build this sort of mannerism that will help them in the future Adults who are constant hospital patients creating awareness on how being open to the nurses and doctors will help them feel less nervous and rely with more confidence on those who are there to help 6 Why did you choose this method for creating public awareness I believe that a lot of people find tools like videos or posts on social media a lot more convenient nowadays and it can be an effective way of addressing this matter that should be talked about more since a lot of professors inside the Nursing career only focus on teaching the step by step procedures and information to do the job but no one really focuses on something that is so important because this can affect the performance of anyone doing the job even the ones who get the best grades in Nursing school As I ve had a small focus on psychology as well I have seen how important it is to be open and say what needs to be said so you can help your patient on the best way possible and also having a good relationship with those you work with and I believe that this should apply in so many other fields so I want to bring light to this topic and help out my fellow Nursing students and just common people in general
