of fortune 500 companies are ranking failure and if you don t fail enough it factors into your promotions and raises They want you to fail and then grow and learn from it Egos devour the keeper Look at constructive and destructive criticism Some criticism could be constructive but is put forth in a destructive way that is mean and cruel Active critics are our greatest assets 7 The Three Wells a time The long term goal should be in mind Ex staying in class Use your time wisely If you come to class just listening is helping you study Writing things in color also helps you remember Don t sit in class on your phone pay attention The busiest person does not win be wise pay careful attention to how you spend your time Be on top of things Once you are done with the things you need to get done 64 waste up to 1 hour a day Employees may get paid 17 an hour Time is money 22 waste up to 2 hours a day Sometimes people use more energy to waste time than to actually do what they are suppose to do Ex some people go take naps on the job that s bad 14 waste up to 3 hours a day Don t hire these people Ex people that always need to use the bathroom go on break etc Those with Bachelor s Degrees are the worst offenders You graduate from college they get into their job and they are thinking about a million other things on the job other than their job It is important to be productive at your job Good and creative companies don t even worry about this because of their process of picking employees You don t want employees who waste your time You want the employees who are creative productive
