Installing PSpice:1. The installation files for PSpice can be found at http://ets.fulton.asu.edu/system/files/shared/docs/ps9_1.zip Download the file to a folder, say your Desktop. It is a 27.2 MB file. 2. Create a folder called PSpice on your Desktop. You will extract the installation files to this folder. In order to extract the files, you will need to install Winzip. An evaluation version is available for download at www.winzip.com . 3. Go to the folder where you have the extracted files. You will see a Setup file. Double click on that. 4. Hit OK on the next two screens that asks you to turn off the Anti-virus software(not advisable), and if you have control over the Administrative setting. 5. You will then see this window. It installs Capture by default. But we need the “Schematics”. So select that option and click Next.6. You will then key in the path, which by default is C:\Program Files\OrCAD_Demo. Change it if you want to. 7. After that, navigate through the installation process, as you’d do with other programs. After the installation is complete, you should be ready to start using Schematics on your computer. This software works on a computer with Windows OS and not on Linux/Mac
