Name: Class Instructor: TA: Session: 1 Circuit Models Lab 6 Lab Work Grade 1. Slide 11: What is the open circuit voltage? _________ _______/ 2. Slide 11: RL VL _______/ 1kΩ 1.5kΩ 10kΩ 3. Slide 13: What is the value of RTHEVENIN? _________ _______/ 4. Slides: 13 (Measured) 19 (Calculated) RL VRL (Thevenin) VRL (Norton) _______/ 1kΩ 1.5kΩ 10kΩ Slide 16: Show RTHEVENIN calculations in your data sheet _______/ Slide 18: Show VTHEVENIN calculations in your data sheet _______/Name: Class Instructor: TA: Session: 2 Questions: 1. Find the open circuit voltage VOC for the circuit using PSPICE. 2. Find the Thevenin resistance RTHEVENIN. Show detailed calculations. 3. Find the load voltage VL for RL = 2K and 3K using PSPICE. 4. Using the VOC and RTHEVENIN values (obtained from questions 1 and 2), build the Thevenin equivalent circuit on PSPICE. Connect RL = 2K and 3K, and show that the load voltage VL matches the values obtained in Question 3. 5. Build the Norton equivalent circuit, (use the values obtained from questions 1 and 2, to find the short circuit current ISC) with RL = 2K and 3K and show that the voltage VL matches the values obtained in Question 3. Include schematics for all values that are to be determined via PSPICE and also the plots. Lab Data Sheet: Attach your hand written Data Sheet with notes taken during the lab. The Data Sheet must be signed by your lab
