MAKE SURE YOUR PART OF THE PRESENTATION ISNOT TOO LONG, OR TOO SHORT.Your grade will have both a Group and an Individual component, which will be graded as follows:Group Grade: 25pts25pts of your grade are dependent upon the group's presentation, in particular how well the group was able to organize to make a good presentation. This is a function of time and energy spent working togetheron the presentation.24- 25: Well coordinated, well organized, enjoyable, all parts fit in the allotted time, shows effort above and beyond the average. It is obvious that everyone in the group worked and practiced together to make a smooth, fun presentation for the rest of the class. 22-23: Coordinated, organized, all parts fit in the allotted time. Students worked together on the presentation, but not very much or not very well. No one went over on his/her allotted time, but the parts don't flow that well.19-21: Not well coordinated, or organized, presenters exceed their allotted time. Information is presented and something can be learned, but it is obvious that the group did not work together. Consequently, the presentation was not enjoyable for the audience.<19: Major lack of organization, presenters exceed their allotted time such that it is impossible to follow the information. Students obviously did not work together on the presentation and it lacks continuityIndividual Grade: 75pts75 pts will depend upon your individual performance in those few (4 or 6) minutes that you have in front of the audienceThose 75 pts are broken down as follows.Organization: 25 pts The organization or you part of the presentation depends upon how much time you spent organizing it and how well and how often you practiced it.24- 25: Well organized, enjoyable, shows effort above and beyond the average, fits in the allotted time. You made of plan of what you wanted to present and you obviously practiced your part, but not very much or not very well. Your part may be accurate, but does not fit in well with the other parts.19-21: Not well organized, you exceed the allotted time. Information is presented and something can be learned, but it is obvious you did not organize your part or practice it. Consequently, the presentation was not enjoyable for the audience.<19: Major lack of organization, you exceed the allotted time such that it hinders your partner. Your part fits well with the other parts and it makes logical connections with what has been or will be presented by your partner(s). Shows effort above and beyond the average. It is obvious you spent a lot of time researching.22-23: Adequate amount of information, though it may not be very interesting. The information is related to the rest of the presentation, but nological connections are made. It is obvious you researched the topic, but not very extensively.19-21: Could use more information.
